Data Deletion

This page describes how to request deletion of your data from SendIt. We respect your privacy and your right to control your personal information.
Processing Time
Data deletion requests are processed within 30 days of receipt. You will receive email confirmation once your data has been deleted.
What Data We Store
SendIt stores the following data associated with your account:
- OAuth Tokens: Encrypted access tokens for connected platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram)
- Platform Identifiers: Your user IDs and usernames on connected platforms
- Scheduled Posts: Content scheduled for future publishing
- Published Post Records: Metadata about posts published through SendIt
- Temporary Media: Images uploaded for publishing (deleted after 24 hours if not used)
How to Request Data Deletion
Option 1: Email Request
Send an email to privacy@infiniteappsai.com with the following information:
- Subject line: "Data Deletion Request - SendIt"
- Your platform usernames: Include the LinkedIn and/or Instagram usernames associated with your SendIt account

Type of deletion: Specify whether you want:
- Complete account deletion (all data)
- Specific platform disconnection (e.g., only LinkedIn)
- Scheduled posts deletion only
- Verification: We may ask you to verify ownership of the accounts by sending a confirmation from the email associated with your connected platforms
Option 2: Self-Service (Self-Hosted Users)
If you're self-hosting SendIt, you can delete your data directly:
- Database Access: Connect to your Supabase database

Delete Records: Remove your user data from:
connected_accountstablescheduled_poststablepublished_poststablemedia_uploadstableuserstable
- Revoke OAuth: Revoke SendIt's access from your LinkedIn and Instagram app settings
What Happens After Deletion
- Immediate Effects: Your OAuth tokens will be deleted, disconnecting your social media accounts
- Scheduled Posts: Any pending scheduled posts will be cancelled
- Published Content: Posts already published to social platforms remain on those platforms (we only delete our records)
- Backups: Data in encrypted backups will be purged according to our backup rotation schedule (maximum 30 days)
Platform-Specific Disconnection
You can also revoke SendIt's access directly from each platform:
- Go to LinkedIn Settings > Permitted Services
- Find "SendIt" in the list
- Click "Remove" to revoke access
Instagram/Facebook
- Go to Facebook Settings > Business Integrations
- Find "SendIt" in the list
- Click "Remove" to revoke access
Note
Revoking access from platforms will immediately prevent SendIt from posting to your accounts, but will not delete data already stored in SendIt's database. For complete deletion, please also submit a deletion request.
